• St Ivel Chilled Products
  Stainless steel Suregrip Floorplate, 4.5mm and 6mm thicknesses, were fabricated to individual platforms around vessels in this food manufacturing facility.

• Waterloo Station, Jubilee Line
  London Underground specified electropolished Wincro 3mm Suregrip Floorplate to their 120m long travelator walkway. The supply included fully fabricated edge angles and all fixings to this pedestrian walkway.

• Westminster Station, Jubilee Line
  London Underground recognised the benefits of Wincro Suregrip stainless steel Floorplate for the pedestrian intercourse platforms to this new hi-tech station. The long term durability and low maintenance properties provided a cost effective solution. Wincro 3mm thick Suregrip Floorplate was individually fabricated and electropolished, over a 1500 square metres coverage for the 4 pedestrian areas and fully clad staircases. Fixing to a screed, Wincro also manufactured an integral divider bar to the perimeter of each floorplate as a feature, and supplied all necessary fixings. To the Ticket Hall area of the station, in excess of 500 lin. Mt of 8mm thick Suregrip Floorplate has been laser cut and supplied complete with supporting framework to electrical trunking ducts, all electropolished and supplied with necessary fixings and silicone isolator seals. Wincro have also supplied over 550 no. individually formed and rolled, dull polished skirtings to suit the Eastbound and Westbound platforms. Wincro have worked with the Architect and London Underground over a period of 6 years on this project, providing solutions to overcome any problems.

• Platforms for St Petersburg, Russia

• Elvington Water Treatment Works
  Wincro worked extensively in conjunction with the Contractor and Engineer to develop 15 stainless steel baffle structures to this Ozone Contactor building for Yorkshire Water. This cost effective alternative to traditional concrete gave the client the advantage of flexibility as the plant develops. The vertical baffle structures, all in T316L stainless steel, were manufactured at Wincro's factory utilising their in-house formed channels. Each baffle screen included the cladding of 50 square metres of 1.2mm and 3mm sheet, incorporating 8mm thick strengthening gusset plates. Wincro also supplied all necessary fixings including special Gore-Tex washers and sealing strips.

• Spent Etchant Recycling Plan, Le Havre, France
  Over 323 square metres of 4.5mm stainless steel Suregrip Floorplate was cut and shaped with folded kick flats, for 8 individual platforms. The 8 complete modules were fully fabricated and shipped direct to Le Havre.

• British Nuclear Fuels, Sellafield
  Wincro manufactured 9 No. Stainless steel ladders, some over 8m in length complete with fabricated safety cases to a BNFL design.

• Russian Babyfood Factory, St Petersburg, Russia
  Wincro supplied in excess of 150 sq mt of 4.5 and 6mm Suregrip Floorplate all fabricated to plans including over 250 formed Treads to staircases.

• The Petrus Project, ICI, Wilton
  Over 50 tonnes of Wincro Suregrip T316 Floorplate, 8mm thick was extensively fabricated to 5 floor levels in this chemical manufacturing plant. Wincro detailed and fabricated to include fully welded kick plates, joint plates, plug welded fixing holes and drainage gutters.

• Virgin Mega Store, Kings Walk Mall, London
  4.5mm Suregrip Floorplate was extensively fabricated and electropolished into stairtreads and landings to this prestigious Virgin Mega Store shopping outlet.

• Simco Pharmaceutical, Guernsey
  Wincro designed and manufactured a complete stainless steel platform for this pharmaceutical production unit. The box section frame was clad in electropolished 4.5mm floorplate complete with perimeter kick flats. Also included a safety handrail system and access staircase for site operatives.
